Giveaways, Contests and Sweeps: How to know they are legit, and how to know if a winning letter is real. Part Three
Giveaways, Contests and Sweeps: How to know they are legit, and how to know if a winning letter is real.
Ok so I got the book blog world down, and I joined all their rafflecopters and visited all their blog rolls and belonged to all their blogs so i could pull up my rss reader and find new ones every week. These quickly morphed into all the “mommy” blogs which is a huge industry and some of the best blogs out there, some of the winnings are larger. Larger gift cards, more electronics, etc. And away I went. Enter enter enter.
I made sure to have a good attitude about this. That is 90% of this. It is easy to get discouraged. Very easy. You can go a month, or two, or three, eek, or more, but the key is keep doing it. Do it, forgot about it, move on. If you obsess about each one you will start getting anxious and depressed. Think of it as a hobby – which is is. I look forward to my sweep time during the day, I zone out and I go on auto-pilot and yeah I read some blogs in-between. But this is what I ended up doing in my down time and I enjoyed it. And yes, some say come back daily for more points/entries – sure! Bookmark that one. You will find you will have 50 different bookmark categories. Tip – If there are ones you want to go back to later on but don’t want them lost – put them in bookmark folders named with the month they end. Like “Sweeps ending May 2013” so June you can go through and get bad at all the people that are not you. No, I’m just joking (kinda), no really – don’t get upset at others. The key really is to keep a positive attitude. Don’t think you will never win or that you don’t know why you both entering because you are not winning … because you will.
